Software Notes
From The BoxA glimpse into the vast simulated world that is the mystery of BRATACCAS… so much adventure… so much excitement… so much… inside this the world’s most sophisticated piece of entertainment software.

We can only guess as to what will happen on each play of this game… All we know is that the characters are intelligent… they make their own decisions… you must make yours… and live or die by them.

Game originsIt is part of computing urban legend that Brataccas was created from the ashes of Imagine Software's two fabled (and unreleased) MegaGames 'Psyclapse' and 'Bandersnatch'.  However, contrary to popular belief, Brataccus was neither an extrapolation or fusion of these MegaGames although it was certainly influenced by them and is similar in style.

FactoidThe box art for Brataccas was created by legendary science fiction artist Roger Dean.  This artwork would later be reused by the progressive rock group 'Uriah Heap' on the album cover of their 2001 album 'Remasters: the Official Anthology'.
