| From The Box | SOME DAY, ALL SPORT WILL BE PLAYED THIS WAY It’s two years since the last ball was thrown on a Speedball pitch. There are new teams, new stadia and new rules. The arena is bigger, the player are tougher and the action is faster than ever before. The challenge is this. Take control of Brutal Deluxe, the worst team in Speedball history, and turn them into champions. | ||||
| Title Track | The title track used in Speedball 2 is called 'Brutal Deluxe' by Nation XII, it was published in 1990 by Rhythm King Music. The music was written by Simon Rogers and remixed and coded by Richard Joseph, it would go on to win the 1991 Golden Joystick Award for Best Soundtrack. Like 'Xenon 2: Megblast' The name of track was also the origin of the games subtitle. The name actually fitted perfectly since it described the brutallity of the futuristic sport that is depicted, it was also used as the name of the team the player had to manage in the game. | ||||
